Lookbook 2018 - The story behind

Our 2018 lookbook is our most personal lookbook to date. Accompany model Carolina on a very special road trip in search of adventure, love and the sea. Feel the longing for distant countries and the very special Boho attitude to life. Be a Gypsy Queen!

Our towels are made for those road trips in life, are ideal travel companions and love to flap in the sea breeze. For all time and climate zones (at least the sunnier ones ;-)) they make long hours of travel more comfortable. But they are also a cuddly companion at home and bring Boho flair and cosiness into the house and garden.

Now you must be curious about the history of the lookbook. I took many photos myself at my favorite places - they also remind me of special moments with very special people. My second home Istanbul, Marrakesh, Bodrum and Cappadocia are the home of these motifs.

VACA VACA was supposed to get a completely new look in 2018, so two young talents, model Carolina Köppel and photographer Levin Scholl, shot the campaign in The Hague and froze to bring the summer by the sea into our lookbook ;-). Levin has already published a photo of Anna Ewers in German VOGUE.

The great interior shot was taken by Britt Schilling - the queen of styling and scenery construction - apart from the photography ;-).

Last but not least, mind reader Carmen from fraufuchs design , who brought this very special Gypsy Queen feeling to the pages in post-production & layout and who precisely implements and organizes my many ideas ;-).
