Trend set 2018

My dears! We have already started the new year with the first trade fair - the trendset in Munich to meet our B2B customers. It has been a must-attend event for us for the past 3 years - this year we were also present at the winter edition for the first time. Another Munich tradition is our stand in pink-orange, together with the leather manufacturer Ellabee from Munich. The designer Madeleine Treuleben has her designs made in Italy, Tunisia and Turkey. Our stand was particularly successful this year, I photographed the banner myself in Cappadocia. How do you like it?

New at VACA VACA are now also towels with colorful boho fringes, which with their colorful mix of colors make you want to go on summer adventures! Fake Love and Unreell Sunset are already online. Colorful beach towels with maritime stripes are also "new in"

My second trade fair discovery is the young Danish designer Anders Fuhr. The Danes are really good at interior design! You can see two lamps in the right picture together with our Unreal Sunset cloth. All Fuhr Home furniture is made in India. Many materials are vintage, such as old railway ties or vintage jeans that are reworked into rugs and cushions. Lovers of vintage and industrial style should definitely take a look at the homepage. Of course I also stopped and I will present the result here on the blog soon.

During the day, Messe always looks like having fun and being in a good mood in nice clothes. It is and we are very happy about the great encounters and exciting conversations. What many people don't know is that assembly and dismantling is hard work, and all employees and owners are always present. Even if you have stand builders or hard-working helpers, we always lend a hand ourselves. As soon as the heating is switched off and the beautiful carpets are rolled up in the corridor, the hustle and bustle begins. Trucks and forklifts move in and the beautiful stands disappear at lightning speed. First an hour of traffic jams before you can drive to the exhibition center for dismantling, fortunately the colleagues from Lakrids gave us provisions for dismantling ;-). Then there was a scramble for the best parking space and at around 9:00 p.m. it was off to the motorway.
