The weaving tradition in pictures - a centuries-old craft
Our towels are made in family businesses in Turkey. We work with families in Anatolia but also near the Syrian border.
Baran makes our hammam towels. He is the second generation to run the business and is reinterpreting the centuries-old tradition: our hammam towels are characterized by modern trend colors and Ökotex-certified yarns. All fringes are twisted by hand, about 6 km of thread are woven for one cloth. Weaver Edie weaves the characteristic VACA VACA towels with the colorful fringes for us. These designs are by Caro and represent the boho spirit of VACA VACA.
